About Factory Repair Services
Located at 1303 Columbia Dr #201, Richardson, TX 75081, Factory Repair Services operates as a car stereo shop serving Richardson in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ3 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Factory Repair Services at (972) 690-8115; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, factoryrepairservices.net.

Astin is now running this business keeping it in the family. Man is he great!! I had a 1996 Buick Skylark CD/Cassette radio that I did not want to lose so I could keep the stock look. He fixed the cassette in less than one day and was a pleasure to deal with. If you appreciate OEM radios Factory Repair Services is THE PLACE!!!!

Perfect experience! The touchscreen in my 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SE stopped working, and my dealership quoted me over $3,500 to replace it. Factory Repair Services did the same job for only $775. They were professional and quick, and my screen is as good as new. Thanks!

Great experience taking in my Range Rover. I had an issue with my L405 head unit that the RR dealership could not fix. Astin diagnosed and then designed a creative solution and got it done. They are the real deal.

Astin and his team at Factory Repair Services are fantastic! They are very good technically and their prices are extremely reasonable. My wifeβs 1999 Explorerβs CD player had stopped working. We made an appointment and dropped it off. They started working on it immediately and it was repaired and ready to go in a couple of hours or so. It now works perfectly! My 2002 Avalancheβs Stereo & CD Player also stopped working. When we picked up my wifeβs Explorer, I asked Astin if he thought that he could repair the stereo in my Avalanche. He said that he probably could but that they were booked out for the rest of the day. I made an appointment to bring it in. This repair was more complicated, so he removed the stereo so that I could have use of my truck while the stereo was being repaired. A couple of days later he called me saying that he was ready to install the unit back into my truck. I took it back and he reinstalled the repaired Stereo & CD Player. It works as good as new! We really appreciate that they have the expertise to actually repair these old radios instead of someone saying that they are not repairable and just trying to sell you a new one. They are very nic

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Factory Repair Services brought my 2011 Jaguar XK radio back to life! I canβt thank the team at Factory Repair Services enough. My Jaguar XKβs radio was completely dead β no sound, no power, nothing β and I honestly thought it was beyond saving. After contacting them, they were incredibly professional from start to finish. They diagnosed the issue quickly, communicated clearly about the repair process, and handled everything with care and precision. When I got the unit back, it worked perfectly β better than ever, actually. The sound quality was crisp, all the functions were restored, and everything looked factory-fresh. You can tell they really know what theyβre doing when it comes to high-end European electronics. If you have a dead or malfunctioning radio, donβt waste time or money on replacements β let Factory Repair Services handle it. They turned what I thought was a total loss into a perfect fix. Highly recommended!
